Need help from Ford employees
Can anyone answer this, does the color of the Lightning effect it's build date? and is there anyway I can find out which color they have an excess of so I can get a truck or build date atleast. I don't care what color. Thank you in advance.

The color doesn't matter!! The trucks are built on the line depending on when your order was received. The plant receives the order, it gets a VIN# then a build date! They do not do a series of Lightnings then 4X4 or 4X2. They are mixed down the line. They build about 6 Lightnings an hour. 40 - 48 in a 8hr shift. I will have your information soon. They will get back with me when they have time to look it up!! They have your information!!!. I'll post you when i get home from work on the build date!!
