Crack! I Found Crack!

ok guys, i have a slight dillemer on my hands. i have a turkeypot intake manifold here you guys are pretty familiar with. i was cleaning up my intake manifold getting ready for whenever i get my motor dyno'd and i noticed a very fine crack that almost penetrates from the inside out, in the driver side rear corner up high. it goes through the gasket surface most of the way out, and down about half an inch...

what do i do besides cry?

my buddy's been to school and he's afraid the weld will either crack out at the end of the welds, or may crack out in the middle of the weld. does this sound right? i have the ability to easily get it to someone to be fix'd right now since its sitting on my bench collecting dust.

I'm afraid by the time you get it Magnafluxed and welded you will spend more then $150 this charges..And no if welded properly it will not , a weld is stronger (If done properly) then the surrounding areas..

im concerned about JB weld patching over the hole, but flaking off later on?
also, what about brazing to fill the crack? i know they use brazing filler and a tig on body panels and small holes in restorations.
