photoshop 5.5 how do i use it.
i have the above program. how can i use it to change the color of my truck? or can it only be done with 6.0
if 5.5 will do it then how do i do it. any info will be helpful.

Photoshop 5.5 is better than 6 from a professional standpoint.
As far as changing the color the most precise way is to use the path tool, and then turn the path into a selection, working from there. It takes practice but after a while it is easy. Hopefully you have the book, look up the path tool, and clipping paths, and the paths palette. Then look up levels, curves, and selective color.
Not everybody does it this way some use the magic wand which will never produce high quality "printable" graphics but probably just fine if you are just playing around for the web.
