went to steel al,yesterday met several new L owners,nice to meet all of you,i was the one pulling the slow mustang,i ran faster than he did,my e.t was 13.45 at a 101.82,1.98 60ft on stock tires,than i made one more pass and that netted me a 13.56 at a 101.16,2.01 60ft,then i got home and got my svt certificate,my build # is 4023,6/19/00 thats on a monday,but it sure is fast,for a stocker.is that a good time for a bone stock truck?i sure am pleased.

 

Good to meet you yesterday also, newsvt. I was the other stock black lightning and my best run of three was 13.59 @ 100.93 with a 1.98 60ft. Made me really happy as I was only expecting 13.7's or so. I'll definitely be going back to Steele - nice crowd and lots of H.P.!

thanks guys,im with you georgia lightning,i was telling my wife on the way down,that i was hoping to at least run some 13.80 or so,and when i got my time slip,i was like dam,where did that come from,and to make it even more special,i outran a ls1 to boot,hehehe.
