Here is the deal people. Dale is not going to mill them for me anymore. I've been out looking in the Seattle Tacoma area trying to find a shop to do them for me. I have to have a very large amount machined before they we even talk to me!!! The more I have made at one time the less it is going to cost me. I've been quoted very HIGH prices to get them to tool these parts up. I have found a shop that is going to mill them for me. It is going to cost a few dollars to get it running. The first wave of them will be ready for me next week. As for now I have a total of 44 sets left! I think they will last to Feb 1st. If they don't I will honor the 35.00 price up to Feb 1st of 01! Even if I dip into the ones that are costing me more to make.

I Thank you all!

HJ

KGM,

In researching this, the cam bolts are neded to allow for proper alignment.

Source, quantity, part numbers, and prices are as follows:

Ford
(4) F65Z-3B236-BB (Cam Bolts) ~$18.00 each
(4) F65Z-3C178-AA (Nuts for Cam Bolts) ~6.00 each

for more info, check out Lightstruck's post on https://www.f150online.com/f150board...ML/007931.html

Napa
(2) Kits 264-2953 (Sold as a Kit) ~18.00

more info, https://www.f150online.com/f150board...ML/008220.html

I am headed to Napa today to research further and will post findings and, like the majority here, will be glad to put an end to "clunkage."

Cool

Herb The quality is great and the fit is to ! I had had mine to the dealer for the star washer fix but this is so much better. The install went very easy except for having to grind where the star washers had dug into the frame a little. Maybe its me but the truck just seems a little tighter than before. Thanks for making the inserts.

UPDATE...

Sorry for the delay, just picked up the cam bolt kits (2) from Napa.

Part # 264-2953
Cost (retail): $33.81 out the door.

Much better than $90 + from Furd.

Will attempt to post pics of install process.

Speedy

HJ, if you want I can find someone to make these for you. I'm in the precision sheet metal business and have access to many fine machine shops in the Austin aera. This part is a no-brainer! If you need 50-100 sets I would have no trouble finding someone to make them! I am not interested in taking this away from you. I don't have time to mess with taking orders one at a time. If you want me to get you a quote, e-mail me @ jjordan@x25.net

Would you prefer a check or money order? It's still $35, right?
