So a co worker is talk some smack about walkin all over my lightning.
Now to set the stage first I have a 2003 lightning w/ K&N intake and flowmaster cat-back. Nothing else. The com is a integra with a turbo. As the guy says he is pussing 10psi of boost. So what do you all think?

 

I would say chances are pretty good you would still take him. Those cars are so slow stock that even with a turbo at 10psi it may still be slow. If he's a trash talker just egg him on some and see if he will let on what he runs in the 1/4 and then you will know. Any faster than 13.50ish and you got a a fair chance of losing. From a dig I think you would eat him up out of the hole, and if you lose, so what you lost and he won against a vehicle that weighs twice as much as his and he had to give it all he could to beat you.
Add a 4lb or 6lb lower and return the favor without all the trash talking.

 

Need more stats on the Teggy, what year, motor swap etc. A quick easy rice setup isnt gonna get him anywhere...depending on year he's got anywhere from 200-300hp FWD on a normal/halfass build

 

well i don't know, what year is it, oh and mainly what type of person is he, he sounds like he comes from the ricer crowd, which is 80% bull****, if he wants to race a Lightning he should know either how much power he makes or the time slips he has, if he has any

 

It doesnt matter what he doest to that car..Youll still have a cooler truck at thr end of the day ! So YOU WIN !

I mean this guy could be liying, but according to this he runs a 13.306 ET 1/4 mile with a turbo pushing 9lbs.

 

even if you lose and he only beats you by an Integra length(which isn't much) then you can still say, hey you just barely beat a pickup truck
