00 Lightning for $10,000 ?
ELKTAGAZ,
I heard that tale before also and some people getting outrageous deals on stuff.
When I was in HS yrs and yrs ago there was a farm not far from school. On the side of a barn there was the shape of a covered car that resembled a older(70 models) mustang with the fast back contours. It sat there for about 3-4 yrs during HS and never moved. The owner of the farm was known to be a gruff older man and people avoided going on his property. One day my good friend mustered up enough courage to go ask about that car and if it was for sale.
Get this, the old man told him it was his if he hauled it out of there as he was tired of looking at it. He mentioned it had not ran in yrs for some reason. Upon uncovering the car it was a 71 Red/Black Mach1 mustang that was in very good shape. It needed some paint work but interior was in mint shape, and was all original. It wouldn`t start so we towed it out of there and to friends house. Buddies Dad spent about 20 min messing with it and discovered it had a broken shaft on the distributor and that was it. A week later new one was installed along with new battery and she fired right up. Buddy spent some money on paint work and tires and drove it daily. Still has that car totally restored today and it cost him pennies. Has had many offers over 15,000 for something he got for free.
IT never hurts to ask...you never know as that would be a hell of a deal if true

Remember that old tale of the lady who put her husbands, soon to be ex cause she was getting a divorce, 911 turbo in the ads for 50$, and the lucky dog that scored that deal? You never know, you'd better run down there!
