Angry

Worst car ever???

This guy is old enough to have seen Jags that just stopped whenever the electronics failed (I owned an XJS that did), Rolls Royces that where outclassed by Lincoln towncars (my dad owned a Silver Spur...two in fact, both sucked), hell the Brits don't even OWN a car company anymore except what, the Aston Martin just bought back from Ford by global investors???

Of course the dash looks wierd..........the steering wheel should be on the left

oh and what about the buying into our wars part............????? at least we have to nuts to defend ourselves

LOL i saw that a long time ago.....he just hates trucks, especially ford trucks

but then he had to except that the supercharged 5.4L was a good engine when it powered the Ford GT...which is his favorite car, even though it had more valves and other faster items in it

I use to watch that a$$hole too, BUT after he did that piece I never have again

There are other shows where he makes fun of anything and everything in America, I've heard hin calls all americans fat, make fun of our food, our children, way of life, houses, city's, you name it.....

The guys a complete ******* and why they allow him to drive the vehicles he does is beyond me, he's as stale as Gators underware, looks like a cross between Jay Leno and Vinnie (OR SOMETHING) He has no professional opinion on anything, all his feedback is personal, just another useless Brit in my mind.

FU Jeremy, and you too half pint Richard, and ah WTF FU Ricki too ...

There I feel much better now

He is making fun of himself and the product at the same time

Its humor ... Who cares ?

He is the same guy that returned the Ford GT because the alarm kept going off ...

I really enjoy watching the show - I dont always agree with it but its fun and funny - especially the BBC version

"This pickup then does not work in Britian because we are just too sophicticated. ...he's nicked my firelighters."

"Fire-lighters, so your fingers don't get the smell of parrafin on your fingers."

"We don't want to be too far off from a skinny latte with a dash of extra expresso."

"We do what we do which is go to the shops."

It is funny because the Brits are just too pompous to realize their **** smells too. ... and buy a toothbrush dammit.

How many times has this been mentioned before - oh I forget your TV programs are full of repeats and way way way too long adverts

Hey Rob next time your swapping out your plugs I hope your step stool slips and your tackle bag gets hooked on the hood latch

BTW dennisfranz.. The saying is;

Can't tell the difference between Sh#t and Toothpaste..
That's why his breath smells

Funny thing too is the nice muscle car collection of Richard Hammond
They are in mint condition and he drives them to shows.
He praised the GT500 Mustang & Roush Mustang.

This is old news guys - GET OVER IT

He also forgot to mention that you would have to spend 3 times the money over there to find a vehicle to out run it in a straight line! Damn Brits! I just took Ricki off my Christmas card list!

A Lightning through a dealer here would set you back £27k plus tax
A total of £31725 on the road price ( $63450 )
I have brought two of these in the last 7years (99 & 03)

Plus I have spent a shed load a coin on my truck and enjoy driving and putting her up the track, somewhere in the region of $30k+ I dunno but my point is forget that show it's history.

So to own a late model American motor is not a cheap option here.
Plus our fuel is not far short of $8 a gallon - that sucks

Top Gear show is treated with the contempt it deserves.
Clarkson is a showman - I think he spends too much time playing pocket billiards.

Don't do Christmas cards so you saved yourself a few bucks buddy.

Get that truck in the 8s now

He's obviously never been to the home of the crappiest cars in the world -- an American rental car lot.
