Thumbs up Considering a 2002 T-Bird???

I just discovered that I can get a few of the 2002 T-Birds. If you have considered getting one, I can pick one up for you. It won't be at $5,000 over MSRP as dealerships are asking. It will be at MSRP (sorry, that is the best that I can do with the introduction of the new T-Bird).

Delivery would be around Oct. of this year.

Jim, if Ford hadn't made it into a such a poseurmobile I'd have ordered one. I just can't believe that did a clean sheet car and made it into such a puss. I'll never own another GM car, but the Z06 is callin my name and a blvd pimp car with opera windows isn't.

Just one guys opinion though. I'm sure there are enough boomers writhing in the throes of a mid-life crisis that you'll sell 'em all.

Good Luck.

I agree. I personally do not want one but I know they are going to be like gold for a while. So, when I discovered that I could get a few, I'd thought that I would let the L owners on the board know just in case someone was negotiating with a dealership

My mother is ordering one, but I don't think she would want to go out to cal for it. Sounds like a deal though. They still haven't told us the price yet, just a deposit and a list of the toys she wants on it.

I could drop one right into her home town and she could pick it up at a Ford dealership

Just a thought

Hey Jim, If and when FORD puts the FORTY-NINE into production can you please get us all one for MSRP. I am ready to order right now. I might even give up my L for that FINE piece of machinery. ONLY kidding. anyway with over 30 PT cruisers (mostly silver) within a 5 mile radius of my home I think the 49 would look great cruisin around my town. later 95rcobra.

Cool

Hey Jim, how much is MSRP for the new T-Bird??? I'm thinking this would make a great gift for my mom. Hell she gave me life, I might as well check and see if she would want me to get her a new car.

That might be a possability, How would you do that, just tell them to ship it to our dealership and then send money to you? I'll let her know about it.

95rcobra

MSRP is not known at this time. and may not be known for a while. Ford has not released the price.

RT

I tell Ford where to drop your mom's T-Bird and the delivering dealership just turns it over to you. The $$$$ would be handed to the delivering dealership after you have taken ownership of the car. The delivering dealership then mails me the money. Unless it is financed then I will mail you the paperwork.

It is simple and easy.

I heard they will be towards the 40K mark. Not hardly worth it but it is the best damn looking car I have seen come out in a long time.I love them and if they are under 35k you bet i will own one.

Ford Canada released pricing yesterday at around 51k for the car and if you want the removable hard top you're looking at just over 55k Canadian. Even though our dollar is only worth about 50% of the US dollar, car pricing comparisons are more in the order of one third less to get $US. The 49 niner is a more interesting car imho. If they build it...?
