Post Pillar gauge question.

I was thinking about putting some gauges on my pillar. What other gauges would you recommend me putting on the pillar besides boost? I was thinking of putting 2 or 3 gauges on the pillar.

Right now all I have in the truck is a chip and the stock boost gauge is in the black. I am going to be adding an air intake system and other mods that I am sure will ad more boost so I want to know what I am getting for boost.

What is the most anyone has gotten out of the Eaton SC that comes on our trucks?

Thanks

John

I ordered a Autometer 3 gauge pillar.Im still waiting. Its a new product and is in the process of being shipped to autometer from the manf. as we speak.

I got phantom white face gauges

Boost 30 vac-30 boost......Lowest numerical gauge they make.

air/fuel gauge that has the yellow/red/green LED lights. This is good to make sure you are still running rich enough at WOT and is a thumbs up on the Neat Factor.

Water temp 100-250 (lowest numerical available)

these three are the most useful in my eyes whenusing a hypestat theremostat(temp) and any aftermaket chip(air/fuel) and eith a aftermarket intake(boost)

What I think is good is I am keeping an eye on the three things that I changed rather than just monitoring what the factory is already doing

I notice how lean my truck gets while using a chip compared to stock,I see what temp i run without a thermostat and with a hypertech.I also see the difference between using watter wetter and not using it and lastly,I see how much boost each bolt on actually will give.Air intake/throttlebody and so on.

You can get the proper Boost gauge(-20 to +20) if you're willing to to the 2-5/8" gauges. Not much bigger that the 2-1/8 one's.
Just a thought...
