Just curious, what are your 0 - 60 times? Im hoping to throw enough mods on my L to be knockin off some of those new M3s, specs say they run 4.8s for 0 - 60.

I did 4 runs on a g-tech and my best was 5.41s 0 - 60, 13.80 1/4 mi. (only mod was Airaid filter) Show me some good numbers!! Thanks fellas

Now that I've got the new TB installed, my 0-60 has averaged 20 seconds.

0 - sideways: 0.5 second
sideways to other side: 0.25 second
other side to backwards: 0.25 second
Turn around, catch my breath, make sure no one saw it, drive away normal: 19 seconds.

The other mods were easier to control.

Sorry, no 0-60 times for me, but that post is THE funniest I've read on this board in a while! ROFLMAO I must get one of those TB's! I only wish I could've been there. Will you video the instant replay for us?

 

My G Tech says 5.8 seconds to 60. That is with a full tank of gas and my 19 son on board. I'll guess about 5000 lbs. total. This was before the modifications. It is hard to hook up now with the additional power
(356 Hp, 438 lbs. torque at rear wheels).
Let's see, how can I get the BFG drag radials off of my son's chevelle whthout him noticing?

 

Which view would you like it from, front, rear, cab height, bumper height? It can be done!

My '00 L
would clock 5.26 sec regularly bone stock although 40-50 degree weather.

 

My best 0-60 is a 4.19 in 30 degree-air using drag radials!

Here's mine in 50* weather on stock tires using JL's original street program on stock tires. I went a once best of 4.80

On his new program, I had the truck loaded with junk and a friend with me, plus I was out of practice on the launch and smoked 'em badly and got a 4.90. New street chip is much stronger and I'm going to try the race program. HIGH ROLLER is doing everything right it looks like.

 

Bought that stupid G-tech in the group buy and used it one time. 0-60 in 4.64 seconds.

Yes, some are inaccurate like my first one was. Showed 40 hp less than the dyno. The one in my photo above is within 3 hp of the dyno.

Hey, they're cheap compared to the VC2000, but do respond to changes your butt can't feel. I find it useful as a mod tool.

The best 0-60 i could get on f1's was a 4.61,my times did not drop till i put my drag radials on to achieve that 4.19!My g-tech has been tested at the strip at least 3 different times and not once was it more than 1 tenth off,i would say that is pretty consistant.I don't pay any attention to the horsepower or mph on the g-tech because i get alot of inconsistant numbers in those areas!

I hope you know I didn't mean my comment about you as a slam. I just meant you are launching very well and have the "right" parts and it seems as though 4DTHNDR might think all G-Techs are junk. Maybe some are, but some are very accurate. I hope that made sense and I'm not trying to make anyone angry.

Also, try your G-Tech with the truck in 2nd gear - you should get accurate hp results because there's no shift spikes. If I hit 2nd gear, it shows 438 hp. Wrong, obviously. A run to 80 mph starting in 2nd is very consistent. Obviously, the MPH figures for the 1/4 are way off.

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply they are junk. Actually they are pretty accurate from what I've gathered. My disdain was the fact that I spent over $110 and have only used it once. That of course is my fault.

That's cool. You ought to use it some - on the 1/4 mile runs it gets the adrenaline pumping, almost like running a race against an opponent.
