Here you go...

Get some Dot3 brake fluid and a brake bleeding kit from your local auto parts store. Also get a turkey baster from somewhere.

Suck as much fluid out of the reservoir as you can with a turkey baster. Then fill it back up and wait a while so the old stuff can float to the top. Then suck it all out again. Then you want to fill it up again and begin bleeding. Start at the passenger side rear tire as it's the furthest away from the master cylinder. Attach the clear hose that came in the bleeding kit to the bleeding screw on the inside of the brake caliper. Then put the other end in a drain pan or a bottle. Have someone press on the brake pedal and then open the bleeding screw until fluid comes out. Don't tell the person pressing the pedal to release it until you've closed the bleeding screw. Then tell them to release the pedal. Repeat this process until the fluid bleeds clear. You can get into a rhythm by yelling "PRESS" and then "RELEASE" to the person on the pedal. Ensure you keep an eye on the reservoir and add fluid so it doesn't bleed dry. Then repeat the same process on the drivers side rear, the passenger side front, and the drivers side front (In that specific order). Top off the fluid in the reservoir to the fill line and you're done.

Ensure that you dispose of the old brake fluid properly. You can take it to any Jiffy Lube or like place and they'll get rid of it for you.

IDK about the airbrushing. That's not really my bag. If I was going to repaint my L I would probably eliminate all the badges and shave the tail gate handle too. But that's just me.
