I must be hooked. For some reason I couldn't get to this Message Board about four days ago. I kept trying - I tried everyone of the thirty plus Lightning links I've saved - no luck. I finally went out to the SVT Board, registered, then found a link in a message that lead back here.

All very techno boring. What I want to know is, what's gottin' into me that I take time out of work every day to see what's going on here then when I can't get on I freak out...

And, where's my truck! I don't wanna wait no more...

 

The good news is, we are all the same. I have found this board, and one other to be VERY addicting. I crave the knowledge that they both offer. I get up early in the morning just to check it out, before I go take my classes, then when I get back from my classes I check it out. Then through most of the night I'm on the board.


And I agree, where the hell are our trucks??? Screw this waiting thing!!

Here's how you can justify it in your own mind: If you didn't read this board which causes you to buy mods, you'd buy mods anyway, experimenting on your own and blowing thousands of dollars on stuff that doesn't work too good.

Or at least that's how I pat myself on the back as my eyes are bulging out at the screen and my face is all bent up while drooling and frantically gripping and moving the mouse!

Truth is: If it weren't for this Board I wouldn't know about all the mods. A day ago I didn't know you could diddle with the cams. Now, I just figure modified cams are going to be part of the purchase price.

Who would have thought you could put "half as much again" of the purchase price back into the vehicle in the form of speed mods and have none of it even visible (except as smokin' tires which is another money eater)?

No, this site kind of creates its own destiny - the bar gets raised on a daily basis.

By the way, has anybody heard about the teflon under cover that reduces wind drag and increases speed...
