Cool 2001 in Mustangs and Fast Fords

Noticed they lowered the front end .5 inch and the rear 2 inches. Five leafs out back now instead of 3. New bilstiens are supposed to make it ride more "car like" and still haul...***...and tow 5000 #.

If you own a Lightning, run out and look at the rear leafsprings, yours have 5 leafs and is lowered already.

The Bilsteins are new...

Cool

Damn I should have known they would make an *** of me. They must have been referring to the same old difference between the stock F-150 and the Lightning. I even installed the drop shackels on mine and never even thought about the rear springs. Soory for the misinfomation....

NO, NO, NO, the 2001 are actually a little bit lower if I'mnot mistaken. Someone at the hooters meet brought there 2001 calatog, and I said wow that 2001 looks lower then mine stock. I think it was bob, but not sure who said yeah the 2001 are a little bit lower. check that out for sure though.

Actually the 01s are lower than the 99-00. Has nothing to do with shocks or leaf springs....it's the fat chick under the tarp all you 01 guys get with the truck. HA!HA!HA!
