Only hit the bypass once, was doing my first "big" burnout (so I thought!) holding tranny in 1st. Definitely won't do that again, scared the s**t out of me, but the boost came back in about 15 seconds. I plan on disconnecting the solenoid when I take it to the track this spring (will also leave it in drive!)

Under some circumstances, the Lightning will drop boost at WOT. When this happens, the truck just lays down and dies. You will not have any doubt what happened when it occurs. Your 16 second timeslip will tell the story.

This is pretty much a dragstrip-only occurrence. If it happens to you on the street, you were going too fast anyway.

Disconnecting the solenoid does not improve performance in any way, other than by preventing boost cut-off.
