The problem here is case sensitivity and spaces. The original photo was called
Herb Ford1 in windows. When uploaded to the server, it became Herb Ford1.jpg because the file extension is hidden in windows. But, notice the space and the caps at the start of the words. For the image to show up in a web browser, you have to call it Herb%20Ford1.jpg

So, without further ado, here's the pic:

Just for your information, you can edit your original post to test your picture link; if it doesn't work, just re-edit it until you get it correct. This way, you only need to use one post. The edit icon is on the top row of your post that looks like a piece if paper and pencil.

How much and where do I send the money ?

That is the best fix I've seen yet. I want a pair.

I had both front lower control arms replaced and the clunk was gone...... for about 2 months. Now it's back with a vengance.

Those washers will solve the problem forever.

The slot is there for a reason, it is used to align the front wheels. If you center the bolt in the slot you have fixed the clunk but fixed it permanently out of alignment. What is needed is a kit with six washers - three for each side (you'd end up with four left over) with different hole positions, such as:

(__O__) (_O___) (O____)

I have these neat little washers.

I think I was the test truck for them. They have been in my L all summer, and no clunk.

As far as alignment, it right on. From the guy's I have talked with, you do not do a alignment with the bottom A-arm. This is just my input. My L is FIXED!!! end of story

The slots are there so that Ford can cheap out and not put the cam bolt kits in the upper arms. The slots are only needed for the factory alignment. For a proper alignment the cam bolt kits need to be put in the upper arms. Then it is hoped that the lower arm never moves in the slot. Well we all know they've been slipping. If the bolt is moving your truck in NOT in proper alignment.

First of all I would like to say I'm sorry to all. (reference the problems I was having trying to get the pics here) Also a big THANK YOU to Nathan. If I can get my friend to make the parts he said that the cost was going to be around $35.00. I'l give him a call tonight. I'l keep everyone posted. I knew you guys would like them.
