TESTED PSPs "Prototype Lower Blower Pulley"-WOW!!
I had the opportunity to BUY & TEST Sals "NEW" Lower Blower Pulley this weekend.
(Let me state for the record, that because my track in Fla. is open all year long and Sals are closed I was chosen to do the initial testing.)
Track prep was poor . Humidity was 95%+, Baro. 30.03 and falling, Temp 49 Degrees.
Truck weight 4670 lbs+(ARE lid w/wing=140lbs)=200lbs for me=5010 lbs approx.(Full Dress weight)
Note: previous best was 12.77 @ 105.80 mph w/1.82 60ft.(same weight)
Now for the results:
1) 12.76 @ 107.04 mph w/1.88 60ft.
2) 12.82 @ 106.56 mph w/1.91 60ft.
3) 12.75 @ 106.62 mph w/1.86 60ft.
4) 12.70 @ 107.89 mph w/1.82 60ft.*******
Comments: As you can tell a gain of almost .10 and over a 2MPH INCREASE IN SPEED over my previous best time. That over 2 mph increase, with a box like our Ls, is great. I think with better track prep. humidity and baros I can get better times and speed and the "New" PSP Street and race programs I will test next weekend should also help.
S.O.P. TEST-Though the times do not show a dramatic ET gain (when you are at 12.7s every .10tenth is hard fought!)-"My Lightning PULLS MUCH, MUCH HARDER, both on the street and at the track, due to the extra 3PSI Boost increase to 13-14 PSI, NOW!!! WOW!!!
Would I add this to my "MUST DO MODS"????????
DAM SKIPPY!!!!
As a side note: RedBolt was also there and set a new personal best of
13.15 @ 103.67 w/1.91 60ft on a PSP Chip and Filter ONLY!!
I'll keep you all posted with the times of the new programs.
