They must be using SUPER-TWINE to hold that load to the car (it looks like kite string). I notice the back rims look smaller than the front. After seeing what these guys do with photoshop, I will have to say this is not real.

This thing has been all over the place. Some guys swear it is true, others say no way. It wouldn't surprise me at all if it was true, but it would also be very easy to fake with a little photoshop work.
