Does anyone know if the interior changed at all on the 2001 models? I am wondering about the insturment panel in particular. I was told it does not have the white faced guages anymore. I would like to know as I have a black 2001 on order!!!

The only difference that I've heard is that you get lighted vanity mirrors on the sun visors as well as two piece visors for better shielding.

Same old dash and I suspect, same old wire seat frame that cuts through foam, upholstery, and left driver's leg.

I got information from a reliable source that the major change to the interior from last year is there'll be a hooters girl sitting in the passenger seat when you pick it up. I just don't know if you can specify blond, brunette, or redhead.

Adam, according to my sources, buyers cannot specify girl preference. Instead, SVT will handle 2001 Hooters' girl distribution, so, upon delivery, buyers will have to check under the hood to determine which color they actually received since the original color may have been modified to suit marketing department feedback.

 

Here is the info on the Hooters girl.

If you get black you get a brunette.
If you get red you get a redhead
If you get silver a natural Blonde
If you get white you get a bleached Blonde

WHAT04 is correct!! I sat in my truck yesturday. Lighted vanity mirrors and visors are the only change!
No change to the instrument cluster.

Thanks guys. I was hoping they did change the cassette with a CD player also. Oh well. Still waiting.......

 

All 2001's come with a 6 disk changer standard.
