Hello everyone. I am looking into getting a Lightning toward the end of this year. Preferably a 03-04 but I can’t be too choosy. I was wondering if there is anything that I need to be in the lookout for as far as common problems go. Any advice as too how much is too much as far as mileage goes? I am going to do my best to go with the lowest of course; just wondered if there are any problems that may commonly occur at certain intervals?

I am going to start researching as much as possible but thought I try this to get some quick answers if possible. Any feedback and or advice will be greatly appreciated.

Since these trucks are a Hot Rodders friend, try to find one that was actually used as a truck. Look for modification's and try too avoid them.
It is always better too put them on yourself, less chance of abuse.
03, 04 are the years too go for they have the multi thread heads as well, plus a few other minor differences.

 

That would make your truck virtually worthless then, G!!
