Can I get the address of the GF's house...I just want to be there to witness the beat-down when the truck doesn't start and puts a damper on your hasty exit.

I think your asking for the longevity, of the original battery???

I still have the original battery. My baby was built on 5/14/2001, she has over 90K, and the battery is over 6 years old!!!!

However: I have also read that some go out sometimes under “one” year!!!

In my opinion (for what it’s worth) “it depends on how you drive it” like once a week for only 20 miles, that would wear out a battery (constant “discharge” and not enough “charging” time).

Or do you let you’re battery “sit” for six months at a time, worst thing to do. The battery will discharge to the pointy of death!! If it stays “dead” for a long time, it will definitely require a burial!

A lot of times when you’re battery starts to go, I have read that you will get all kinds of signals, the truck will act up, gauges start to sweep, and on and on…

So if you are experiencing these type of symptoms, and then go ahead and R&R!!

This thread is Fd/Up... why don't you take yourself out of the equation of being in a threatening situation. Have her come to you and protect yourself or anyother, if the BF wants to tread on you property. That is if you just have to have her back or can't find another unattached. Keep your battery untill it quits. Next subject?
