I ordered the new 295/45/18 Toyo's today! Chrome wheels will be here tomorrow, tires will be here on Fri. Ordered from Discount tire in Round Rock, talked to Chris($245.00 each). He say's Toyo makes a very good tire. We will see! They (Discount) are not a Toyo dealer but they ordered them for me. The only Toyo dealer in Austin is 35 miles away. These tires should last a lot longer than the F1's. Treadwear 420! "v" rated.

How much is discount tire asking for there chrome rims?

 

I did not buy my wheels from Discount. I got mine from Santa Ana Wheel.

 

I'm considering the Proxes ST also. Kaufman Tire in Hurst has quoted a price of $216 each. I'll be interested to hear how you like them. I'm still probably a month away from buying tires.

the toyo's are a great tire
not as good as the goodyear but the next best thing. your giving up traction for price and treadwear. if your looking for the best tire to "hook up" from a standing start stick with the goodyear. they have a softer rubber compound!
By the way treadepot.com is Kauffman Tire.
you get a lower price from treadepot.com and kauffman tire can install.
