Cool Just slaughtered an R/T-------->

on my way home from getting my truck cleaned, I cleaned the clock of a R/T, story as follows:

Just paid the guy to wash my truck (all done by hand with great care, they even take my truck out just after drying it to get all the loose water off it, then they re-dry it), anywho, I was walking up to my truck when I see this black r/t come up to the corner where my truck is parked. He looks at me & guns it around the corner & down the street. He had so aftermarket exhaust system on it so I could really hear him go down the road. Well, not one to be stood up, I quickly hop into my truck, & head off after him. He was headed my direction anyway, so why not. After about 3 miles or so I finally caught up to him while in light traffic. I was behind him, & the side lane had just freed up, so I gun it & go flying around him. He gets in the same lane behind me & we pull up to a red light. We are both turning the same direction. When the light turned green I slowly turned the corner, he follows, going about 5-10mph I gun it M A J O R W H E E L S P I N all the way through first & into second. When it hits second the rear end got a little squirly so I had to let off a little for fear of hitting something. After I get traction I look back & see about 15ft of rubber laying on the ground with the r/t behind a couple of truck lenghts, & floor it again & watch him fade slowly even further into the background!!!! GOODBYE mr slow r/t..........

Anyways was nice to finally get some action on the streets. That was my Lightnings first r/t. Looking for many more......

Man I wish I could find some R/T's in my area. All I can get to race are LT1's and LS1's.

I love reading these posts...

The first one I raced I went easy. Because I knew we'd catch the next light. I made iot so I just barely pulled away. Next light, the lady had a sh** eating grin and was having a good time with her male passenger. Light goes green again, but this time I wasn't playin around. I gunned it, and my muffler blew off, again. At the third light it looked as if they were coming home from a funeral.

Nice kill Yoda

I've spent little less than 5k in mods (probably more in the 4K area)
(motor is 100% stock, untill i can get my hands on an M1 intake)

Cool

One of the things that make his truck a nice little sleeper is that it's not an R/T, just a Dak Club Cab.
