Dealership Blues
I went there twice now to get my coil changed do to the leaky coolant clamp. They always have an excuse why they cant do it. I am going back sat and i want them to fix my fog light also, is it coverd. I baught my L with 11,360 on it or around that with the leak. My truck doesnt seem as strong as your guys so i am guessing my coil is bad do to the leak wich I fixed myself. How hard is it for them to check if the coil is faulty? I notice it bogs a little if just cruising around 40mph and just barly get on it to speed up a little. My cousin took it out and said his 00 chevy could hang with it up to 60 mph and I am afraid he may be right with the power I have now. I hope it is the coil and not a weak engine.

Do yourself a favor. Go to the parts counter and just buy a new coil pack. I had the misfire problem and purchased one and it is only $45. It turned out to be my plugs so I didn't use it, but will keep it in my parts bins. For small dollar items I found it is alot less of a bite to pay monies than deal with the crap of taking it in to a dealer. Good luck!
