Where to get 2CR FTVB.

I have to service my transmission soon and I want to get the 2CR FTVB. Where can I pick one of these up? Also, I am looking into getting a Transmission Cooler and Chickenears doesnt list them anymore. Anybody have any ideas?

I plan on installing the following:
FTVB 2CR
Moroso deep sump pan
Transmission cooler
Royal Purple fluids
Trans temp guage

Sound good?

I am asking about the 2CR specifically, on the website it doesnt say anything about it. I know a few guys on here are running them and I was hoping one of them could let me know where and how to get one.

I thought the 2CR was the basic FTVB and the 4CR was built strictly for racing. Consequently, there is a 4CR FTVB for sale on NLOC from the admin/owner Dwight.

That is correct sir. They are virtually the same.. with a few extra internal mods.

The 2CR is the "racing" valve body. The 4C was a limited made batch which was a compromise between the 2C and 2CR. It was intended to have hard shifts at WOT but just a firm one at normal speeds where the 2C has a firm shift at all points. There was no such thing as a 4CR. You can get one from Gregg direct if you can get a hold of him. You could also build your own using sonnax parts. do a search for sonnax on nloc.

All valve bodies will increase line pressure at WOT. Thats how the ecu reads the tps and inreases pump pressure. There is no way to have a VB hit the same at all throttle positions. You can have the shifts hit harder at part throttle, but it will always hit harder as throttle increases.
