Do you have your DORA(Dealer Order Receipt
Acknowledgement)? I've been tracking my order since receiving that. It would have your order # on it.

Don't know how long it takes for the VIN to be produced once the order is placed, but.... If the DORA exists, seems like your dealer should be able to look up your VIN#.

I've had my DORA for about three weeks now.
I didn't know there was a order number on it.
My salesman is off today so i can't ask him
about my vin #.However on my DORA there are
two dates. It has -- scheduled 1/8/01 and
then the date 1/29/01. My DORA is at home so
i don't know what the 1/29/01 means ??
Anybody know ??

Thanks OneRed for the mail. I already had that information, but it slipped my mind that once I had the DORA, I could check the status. So you reminded me. It has a new voice activated messaging, where you speak in all the information.

"No Status" on my order. So what does that mean? It's still lying in various parts bins and crates? Or my dealer didn't do something right??

Out of curiuosity, I called back, and this time I had to punch in the numbers myself. Now it says, "As of December 22nd, my unit is scheduled to be built the week of Febuaray 26" Which one should I believe??

I have a DORA also, how do you track your order?
I also have something called a New Vehical Inquiry STK/ORD# 1F07L507 01 F-150

Serial# 2FTZF07301CA49859

The VIN # indicated is a 2001 Flareside F-150, 2 W/D, built in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. The 3 after the 7 indicates a S/C engine.

Sure sounds like a Lightning to me!!!!

As of Jan. 10th your vehicle has been released from the foreign assembly plant.

Hopefully in 2 days I'll be tracking my truck via the web!!!!
