Interesting. What is the overall height of the tire? How wide are the wheels he is running them on? How well would this combo work for daily use?

Cool

The wheel is a 17x10 Prime wheel with a tire height of ~31 inches. He has a blown 98 STX 4.6L that is pushing 260rwhp. Never had traction problems when his truck was stock. I think 31" is the stock tire height for his truck. He wanted to maintain the 4:10 gear ratio that was recently installed. Big tires and not that expensive.

Cool

Yep, those are my "Poor-man's" racing tires and I hope they will soon be listed in the Go-rila Racing Package. I think I might run them every day though. It depends how they look on the truck. My stock tire height is around 30 inches and these are around 32 inches which knocks my gear ratio down from 4:10 to about 3:90. Based on my dyno run this month, the tunner thought I might be geared too low for the 1/4 and that I would do better on a blown truck with a 3:73 gear ratio. Anyway, we will see!

Flats Man -

Make sure you post a picture or two when you get those things on your truck.

Sixpipes...The offset on your wheels look close to stock. What type of handling and ride do you get over stock? Are you running stock shock absorbers. I would consider a 20 tire and wheel combo....what is the outside diameter compared to what we have on these 1999-2001 Lightnings? thanks.. Later on..I was thinkin' about the Fiske FM5's in 20 inch. They custom makem...
