To those who just received the throttle bodies from JDM, How did the install go? Did you have to make any adjustments to the TPS? Also did you see any performance increase from this mod?

I just installed the Ford Peformance Cobra TB (I didn't get it from JDM, but I think they're all the same). The install was incredibly easy - 15 minutes total. The only tools required were a regular screw driver, an 8 mm socket, and a 10 mm socket. Comparing the stock TB side-by-side, it looks like the SVO part should produce more power, but I couldn't tell any difference when I drove the truck. It is my understanding that it is good for maybe 7 hp (at best), so I wasn't expecting a noticable difference.

Anyone know what the torque increase might be?

 

I purchased mine from Babolt. I have more response through the entire RPM range IMHO. The off-idle response is where I notice it most....it does pull just a tad bit more..which would account for the 5-7 HP increase...I recommend it...they should have put these on to start with..

Hey LightningDammitt, I think the posted hp/torque increases were 6rwhp/6rwtq from an older post by BABolt.
