Just wondering - one of my first mods is going to be the hood. Has anybody found a good use for it? Maybe it'll look good as a head board on a double bed - "Wanna look under my hood?"

 

Any idea yet on where you'll get it sanded and painted?? I want to add a Cobra Hood when I get mine - thought maybe I better start looking for a shop to do the work -

 

Some body shops buy them, hey if you want to keep all orginal parts for the truck you can put it in the box that the new hood came in and store it somewhere, just came sure to put something over the paint to protect it!

 

We used old hoods as sleds in the winter time. Flip that baby over and you could get 5 or 6 people on one!

When I swap mine I plan on keeping the stock hood in storage. I've kept all the factory parts that I have taken off.
