Post Axle oil question

Have the rear axle out of my 00 for 4.10 gears. Noticed that the tag bolted to the cover says to use 75-140 synthetic oil. Took a look at the owners manual supplement that came with the truck and that says 80-90 synthetic. So which is it? I have the limited slip additive, just need the oil.
Thanks Brian

Hey 2000R, I went through the same thing you have with the lightning supplement. do not go by that it was printed before the lightning went into production and was never changed. Jim D'amore of JDM engineering told me the fluid that is on the axle tag is what to use. 75-140 weight. it is synthetic and costs around 14 bucks a quart. hope this helps. 95rcobra.
