I'm not usually one to street race, but I had to do it. I was leaving work and taking my time driving to let the L warm up. Pulled up to a red light in the right lane with my coworker in the same lane behind me. Next to me pulls up a newer Z28, the newer headlight LS1 version. It's a lady that smoked me before in my 98 Cobra. I figured that I had to race when she spun some tires taking off. She jumped about a car length before I even started taking off...I wasn't sure if she was gonna race. Her car is definitely an auto, I remember from the race in my Cobra. Anyway, I floored the L and spun the tires for about 30 feet and then grabbed traction. Second gear hit quick and I was pulling by her fender while spinning again. By the top of second gear I was about 2 car lengths ahead and it started spinning again. The lane narrows down to one and I was in front. The power of these trucks are truly amazing.

Believe it or not the L feels faster, not sure why? My Z ran a traction limited 13.5 at 110mph w/ the blower. It ran a 14.2 stock. I'm sure but I believe I'll get better ET's in the L, but I won't get that MPH.
