Post Computer Problems

I s anyone having the same problem I'm having? After reading a post I hit the "Back" button and I keep getting an error message. Error number is 800c0008. This is happening only on this site and started during the weekend. Any of you computer guru's have any idea what is wrong. After the error, I have to shut down the internet Explorer (4.0) and restart. Works okay for a few posts and then the error returns.

Try restarting windows if thats what your using. When your machine gets low on resources IE does alot of weird things. If that does not work I think that "800c0008" might be an ODBC error code and can be looked up.

Try Emptying your Temp internet files and deleting your history.

delete temp internet files, clear history, then upgrade to IE 5.5

also, go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com click on product updates and install the critical downloads. You can install IE 5.5 from there as well but it must be done separately.

FYI, if you are using dial-up, be prepared for it to take some time.

after it is all said and done, run defrag too..
