Travis, any pinging with the R9? Also don't think I'm going to let you off the hook without asking: what is the new mod? I got the new lower pulley comming. See you at River City Raceway sometime in the next few months.

Hey Jerry, I do get the slight pinging with _all_ of my chips. Thats because of the Pro-M I guess. Nothing a little octane booster or race gas from the track wont fix. I will eventually have to get a chip that is programmed for the Pro-M, I guess. That is, if I keep it. I thought about going back to the stock meter and the JDM chip. I too have the lower pulley comming.
I thought about going to the track Friday night for a couple of passes with my slicks. That will be all for me untill the pulley is installed. Then I'll see how it goes after that. I will post something Thurs. if I decide to go Fri. Take care!

Without being adjusted for the Pro-M's lean-out of the A/F ratio, you will get detonation with just about any chip Lightnings, that is very true, as the Pro-M's lean out the A/F ratio by as much as 2 full points, which is just too lean combined with a performance chip that is not compensated for it.

One thing I wanted to mention to you just briefly is that if you originally got that Superchip from us here at Performance (and I can't remember whose real name is associated with what screen name here on F-150 Online), then we will extend warranty coverage against outright failure to the next owner for you, to help you sell it. The manufacturer's warranty is only to the original purchaser, but when they're purchased from us here at Performance, we will extend that basic warranty coverage to the second owner, so if you got it from us, make sure to tell any perspective buyers that, as it may help you to sell it.

Also, if you haven't already, don't forget to list it in the Classified's here on F-150 Online as well.

You may well already know all of this, but just in case, FYI.......
