Ok, this has happened to me twice now, both times seemed to be after running the truck fairly hard, turning it off for a while, then starting it again. It turns over and i can feel a couple cylinders firing, but it wont actually start unless i give it a little throttle. This has happend mildly before, when i would stop for gas or something quick, but i would just crank it a bit longer and it started.
This past weekend was the two times that it wouldnt start unless i tapped the gas. The first time it did it, there was a small puff of smoke (white smoke) to go with it. The second time i didnt notice any smoke, but it did smell funny - no idea how to describe it, never smelled anything like it, almost an alcohol type of smell. Anyone else had anything like this or know what it might be? The only mod i have on is the Airaid filter kit.

It happens to me quite often once the truck has been warmed up. Almost like the fuel is evaporating from the lines.

It happens to me some when i start my 00 on cooler 32 or cooler mornings haven't had that with the 99.
