That's seems about right for me. I know I lost about 10% of my gas mileage with the mandatory Ethanol blends on all of my vehicles.

What good does cleaner burning do if you have to use more of it?

Not to change the subject much but ethanol is a joke right? It takes more to manufacture than it does in vehicle emissions saving due to processing energy AND less MPG so you burn more fuel.

I was getting about 17 combined before the ethanol switch. I don't drive the ol' girl much anymore though.

Me too. Lost at least 10% I would say closer to 12-14%, but anyway

There's no data listing for 2001+

Feel free to look up your own cars:

Despite being pig rich the 99-00 have the best fuel economy due to rear end gearing. The 04 gain back the combined due to their leaner tune.

So in my 00, I'm running an 04 computer and runs fantastic. I gained 25hp in the process and my tips and oil stay much cleaner. Add to that some lowering and some air management, and fuel economy is pretty respectable (for a Lightning).

A 2007 study by Clemson University found that the average American walks about 900 miles per year.

Another study by the American Beer Institute found that Americans drink an average of 22 gallons of beer a year.

That means, on average, Americans get approximately 41 miles per gallon

Hahaha I was wondering why my MPGs were lower. I thought it was because of the heavier foot.

I wouldn't put any faith into a study that came out of Clemson
