codes po715 and 717

Can someone look these up for me. I suspect these are from my gear change.

Probably from the gear change. Have to get chip reprogrammed for the new gears. Thanks

Sounds like a wiring connector was left unplugged.

I shut the truck off and restarted and the codes disappeared. But as soon as I drive a few miles they reappear along with a flashing od light. If the pcm thinks that I still have 3.73 gears when I have 3.55 gears wouldnt this create these codes? The only thing I did was change my posi and gears.

A gear change should not cause a code to appear.

There is a speed sensor ring that goes between the ring gear and the positraction carrier. Did you transfer this ring to the new assembly? Also there is a wiring plug near the top of the rearend assy that picks up the signal from the ring. Check to see if it might have been unplugged.

Too much low end torque. Wanted to soften up launch to make room for more spray. JDM also agreed that it would help me.

Fixed it tonight. Was the front speed sensor on tranny malfunctioning. The ring was transfered to my Trutrac. Thanks
