dyno tuned

hello out there, i have an 01 lightning with the following speed parts installed, one set crower stage III cams, 12lb boost lower pulley, 3inch cog belt drive, predator tuned, three inch eldebrock race mufflers, 4" k&n air intake system "cone" style., took my truck for dyno run and truck produced 342rwhp, and 631 ftlbs of torque however, neither they or i no how to figure how much crank hp i have, dyno my truck was run on is a i think they called it a chaasis dyno? can anyone help me to figure what my engines crank hp is? thanks mike.:

was the chasiss dyno a DYNOJET or a MUSTANG as this make a big difference as to what your number are.

BTW your numbers seem weird... you have an enourmous amount of torque for the amount horsepower.

for a rough calculation: figure that your drive train loss is somewhere in the 20% range through the trans/DS/ and axle, So
342*.20= 68.4...342+68.4= 410.40 CHP
631*.20=126.2...631+126.2= 757.20 CTQ

but those number do not seem to jive to me

do you have a built motor?

Either the 342 was a typo or something is seriously wrong with that tune.

Now, is your lower pulley a 12# or are you seeing 12#'s of boost on your guage? With a 12# lower pully I'm surprised you didn't blow the motor. But, I'm betting you got a 4# lower pulley and even still your numbers would be different.

If they started the run at too low RPM and flashed the torque converter, it would explain the high torque numbers.

A down shift during the pull would account for the weird numbers.
