Question about resale value?
I was planning on changing my head and tail lights of my 99 lightning to the new 2001 design. Do you think this will have any effect on resale value of it? Do you think it will hurt the value since it is the first year and most limited? Shoul I just leave them alone. Thank you
Sovich, I would just keep the parts you take off in a box in the garage, then when you go to sell, you can either swap them back, or tell the interested parties that you have them. IMHO, it should not affect a thing.
On the resale topic here, I have a dilemma.
In August, while visiting Full Sail studios in Orlando FL, my Lightning was severely rear-ended. I have a case pending, and was curious as to how I can go about recovering monies to offset the trucks value now that it has been involved in an accident. I know I will never be able to get the full value out of it because of this accident, but how do I find out what the difference would be?
I need to know how to pursue this.
Before your client clobbered my beautiful truck it was worth $26,000 now its only worth
$X.XX

Someone rear-ended my Dodge and I tried for the same thing. They basically told me that there was no way to prove that someone would pay less since it was in an accident.
