I have an 01 L with 38,000 miles. I haven't been on the boards regularly in several years so I've missed a lot. I have a few quick questions:

1. I know I have at least one outstanding recall. Can this be taken care of at any Ford dealer? Not sure if they have SVT certified dealers anymore.

2. Where is the best place to have all of the fluids changed and have everything checked out?

3. I am way overdue for new break pads. Is this best done at a "breaks plus" kind of place or a dealer?

As much as I would like to do all of this myself, I just don't have the time these days.

call 1-800-Ford-SVT and they should be able to answer your questions. You should be able to get all that done in your local FORD dealer though

 

If time is more important to you than money, I would go to your local Ford dealer, hand them the keys and your "to do" list, and let them have at it.
