HELP! Big Problem
HELP! Big Problem
i finally got the egr pipe back on the new headers i installed yesterday but the egr pipe is too close to the steering shaft any ideas would help ive tried bending it but stainless steel is hard to bend i was thinking about deleting it in my tune so i could forget about it all together. Pics would help too if possible thanks!
DELETE IT and never look back
You cant believe how much it cleans up the engine compartment
You need a BRASS Hose Cap (Any Home Depot or Hardwars store has it)
And you can make a temp EGR Delete Plate by simple cutting any ole piece of metal you have laying around, I once made one out of a Blank Electrical Plate, took like 5 minutes (Homey or the Harware will have that too)
If you do the delete no worry's it'll simply throw a code until you delete it in your tune, nothing to worry bout
Step by Step EGR Delete here

hey Rob can i just remove the pipe block the upper plenum and cap off the two rubber lines and leave the sensor brakets on just in case i absolutely have to hook the pipe back up i figure if the egr will be turned off anyway the sensor shouldnt matter right?
Rob problem fixed! i took the egr pipe off and my neighbor saw where it needed to bend to get away from the steering shaft so he put it on his hydraulic press, 5 seconds and it hooked right back up a good 2 inches away for the shaft im much happier now so now i can really test the new headers! Thanks for the input
