Calling KGM - Blastgate Question

Did you ever get to test your "blastgate" setup for performance gains? I have to imagine that it gave you some ponies - on par with the aftermarket filter setups.
Also, did you get the increase in blower whine volume (both inside and outside the 'Bolt) that is typical of an aftermarket filter setup? How about any of you who have "swiss-cheesed" your airbox? Any increase in blower whine?
