Been Reading the forum for awhile & this is my 1st post. Most of the search for exhaust was helpful, but what I need is any recommendation of a muffler shop in the San Francisco Area to install 2 Dynomax Race Magnums I just received. I figure a shop may charge me more since I'm supplying the mufflers. I wanted new pipes from muffler out w/ 3 1/2" tips & also wanted to install a X pipe right in front of Dynomax's like one of members did.
If anyone has installed anything similiar, what price should I expect?

I actually am in South San Francisco, so Belmont is pretty close. I will give him a call.
Did you do any exhaust work on your L? Curious to get a comparison on sound after it's done & to actually meet other owners.

BTW, do most shops round up to the hour or do they break it down to the half or even quarter hour?

 

I had my headers installed at his shop.

Exhaust work is on the way.

I had asked him to order me up a MAGNAFLOW.

Waiting for it to come in and then I'm having Todd install it.

Thanks for the info, this shop actually sounds familiar now. Awhile back someone told me of a shop by Pep Boys, I believe this is the one. I'm excited I finally found a shop that has worked on a Lightning before.
BTW, do you have a billet grill & lid on your L? A buddy at work told me he sees a silver one w/those mods at a window shop(I think).

Nope. Mine is stock except for the headers, airaid and R9.
