2001 signal mirrors?
A friend of mine has them on his 2001 Lariat 4x4. His has the keypad in the doors as well. Those are some cool looking mirrors.

My 2000 larait has the same setup. I my self liked the 97-99, lights being inside glass.

hmmmm.....I'm with you William, I prefer the signals to be in the mirrors, but we'll see once it hits the street. It might be like the wheels, they might grow on people. But as of right now, I don't like an extra "lip" hanging off the mirrors.

the pawn: I participated recently at a SVT on track event here in California. Ford brought 3 2001L for show; they all had these new mirrors. I actually prefer the signal arrows that I have on my 99 Expedition, much more visible at night without the slight protrusion you see at the corners; but this feature is still a welcome addition.

I had these mirrors on my 2000 Lariat, and they were awesome. They only protrude a bit more, but the cool thing is that you really can't see them blinking from the inside unless you reallllly try to (ie they're not a distraction); only people next to or behind you do. I'm thinking about possibly retrofitting them to my 2000L down the road to help with the rather large blind spot I've noticed (or not) a few times.
