hello, i am the owner but not the seller of my truck, in fact there was a lot of mis understood info. given to the sellers of this truck, the 625hp rating was supposed to be crank hp, and at that it is only an assumption according to a tech. rep. at rpm outlet were i purched the parts, no dyno at the time of posting on ebay had been done, the way the advertisment should read is as follows the following speed parts were installed: one set crower stageIII cams, springs and retainers, 12lbs lower pulley with cogbelt pully set, predator tuned, k&n 4" tube intake system, two edelbrock 3" race mufflers, as of 11may 07 I had my lightning dyno'd at "bud's service center in mesa arizona, and the truck produced 342 rwhp with 631 ft.lbs of torque, tried to get them to give me crank hp, but they said they were not capable of doing that because of engine having to be out of truck and put on engine dyno, they did say there is a formula to calculate crank hp. but they did not know how.,posted a thread on this forum asking for help on this matter and the results are macking me in more confused, according to the respones the torque numbers are not matching the rwhp numbers, this coming friday i will be able to pick up the dyno print-out{printer was down the day of the run but the results are in the computer}. and with anybody's help i will post the dyno run and maybe you guy's can help me make sense of it all, once again i apologize to all about the misprint. thanks mike.

Your not even close for crank hp, you have spent money in the wrong way to make hp. stage III cams is overkill for using a stock blower and exhaust. What good is adding race mufflers and the rest of the exhaust is stock? YOU DONT HAVE A 12LB LOWER PULLEY! that is so wrong. If you see 12lb on the boost gage than you would have a 2lbr lower. 9.6 is stock.

I think by the modz you have it's causing you to making less hp. 342rwhp + about 15% drive train loss = 393 crank hp.

Mike , it is just one of those things that happens , you put a lot of stuff and $$$ in a vehicle and don't quite get the results you were hoping for . Thats what is great about these forums , you can see what someone else has done and kinda see what you can expect from similar mods .

Previous post is right on , you have to get "stuff" that will work together hand in hand or alot of it is for nothing .

Like the cams , great cams , but if you don't have heads , ported supercharger , full exhaust to get all that air moving out , a correct pulley , and all the little stuff that goes along with it , and MOST important , a tuner who knows L's and what he is doing . You can end up with a lot of parts fighting each other instead.

I had a 72 SS Chevelle YEARS ago and it had very little done to it but it would beat just about anything on the street (ahhhh , high school days ) not because I spent a lot of cash on it , can't get much stuff bagging groceries hahaha ~!~ but everything I got all worked perfectly together and were installed by a pro and set up right . Others could not believe that I was beating them after all the money they had spent bolting stuff on .

If someone suggested you buy some of that stuff without any help or recommendations , then I would almost say they were just looking to make a sale and some money themselves ?

Stick around and let us know how it comes out , always lots of folks on here willing to help .
