I have a 2002 lightning with stage 2 heads and cams 6lb lower and suporting fuel mods ,I wona remove the stock cats Will i lose power ,and can a dyno tune get this power back i have stock mide pipe and cats and there on there way out what will make the most power. high flow cats or a test pipe .My goal is to get a new exhaust down the road but out of price range right now.

 

Removing the cats will add power after tuning adjustments are made.

 

I been told i will lose power do to boost ,im at 14 psi

 

You may lose a little low end torque, but gain upper end HP.

Well last night i started i just removed the last 2 cats so it will leave a little back pressure.My dyno day is tommorow and i cant wait to see what she puts down.I have h beam rods stage two heads stage 2 cams 6 lb lower and 60 lb injectors,2400 sct maf,full intake ,electric fans,97 fuel rail,dual 255 walbros. Any ideas ill post the dyno numbers tommorrow. Almost frogot stock eaton .
