Hey guys had alot of fun. Also did you catch the L.A. times article the next day on street racing in the valley. If not I have a copy and they were so kind as to tell everyone where the races are? Good going!! Let's start planning another date. I will have the info on cruisers out in Santa Clarita this week!!

Feeling a lot better, will try to make the next one. Santa Clarita much nicer drive for me, too.

 

Guys: I thought it was off because it rained!!..lol. plus my truck needed a wash. I'll be there for the next one though and hopefully will have the NOS up to pressure with a new bottle heater..would you guys be interseted in passing by the street races later??

Dave, sorry you missed it. No one showed up at Cruisers that night, probably for that same reason, b/c it rained that morning. And about the street races, well me (the ONLY Chevy vehicle there) and the Stangs and Chets L decided to create our own street races. I kept racing the stangs up and down a lonnnnng strip of road, until the security showed up. Hope to see you all there next time. It'll be great, and better planned.

A few of us went to Sunland and ? last nite for some racing. Quite a crowd before the police showed up!! If anyone else knows a place to go post it so we can get a meet going over the holidays. Seems like the well known places are a bust at this point in time?

 

Friday or Saturday, (I forget which one), Roxford went off big, over 100 cars and people. Went on for a while. Roxford is out in Sylmar, right off of the 405. They meet up at Sizzlers across from Crusiers Car Wash on Tampa. Tuesdays between 10-11, Fridays. It should go off big now that winter break is on.

Guys:

Mondays: the toys R us at porter ranch. Lots of older guys with older muscle cars.usually not a very large turnout 10-20 cars and usually a bust.

Tuesdays: Meet at sizzlers across from Cruisers and then go to Canoga and nordhoff
very live from 11:30 on if it is not busted..easily over 100 cars on tuesdays. If the canoga track is a bust, then we all go to sylmar..off Roxford.

Friday and Saturday; Both very live nights at both the Roxford track in sylmar and at the Glenoaks track in Sun Valley. The sun valley track is usually a bust but can be very very live 200+ cars on a good night..there is an adjacent track at saticoy if glenoaks gets raided.

Anyhow..last year on tuesdays we used to get anywhere from 3-6 trailer cars at the track in sylmar and almost no ricers..those were the days

just remembered. i ran into a beautiful red Gen 2 on corbin going south about 3 weeks ago..had the bassani decal by the exhaust cutout. I played with it for a little while and it sounded pretty good. Was that anyone on this list? shouldv'e lined em up my bottle was empty

Damn. Its one of those times when I wish I didn't live in Alaska. I'd go broke with all those races. You guys are lucky.

It just snowed here yesterday, the first significant snowfall this winter. All of 6"s, and the high tomorrow will be near 40.

Dave94Lightning, were you at the Northridge Mall a couple of days ago? I saw a Gen 1 Black Lightning, and I was about to go flip around, and go talk to him, but I had to go. I'll look for you at the races from now on. Tonight was a big bust, one of the racers had the guns drawn on them from the cops. Cops are getting smart these days, they break up the meeting place, and the races at the same time. Off to Roxford next time for me. Oh, just to clear it up, it's Canoga and Plummer! Later all.
