Question New User

Greetings to all...

I have been browsing this message board for awhile now, and have finally decided to register and be able to post messages. I do not own a L yet, but I have found a 2000 Black one with 2k miles on it for sale, and I'm seriously considering buying it. Mainly, I am curious if any of the other members could tell me some specific things to look out for. I have noticed alot of talk about intercooler problems, the "clunk", piston slap and so on. Of course all vehicles have their problems, but i'd just like to know if anyone has any specific advise. Thanks in advance for any help.

Welcome, Adrenaline. May as well jump in and buy one and have the best time you've ever had behind the wheel!

P.S. Do go with a black one because they really are faster!
