I have a stock suspension 02 Lightning and I want to level out the back with the front. I bought JLP 4 in. drop shackles and was wondering what hole to use in them to get the rear level.

 

hole 2 or whichever is 2 inches. Some people might say lower it one inch but your gonna be off at least a half inch either way you go.

Im running my stock svt springs with 2inch belltech drop spindles for the front, and a 3inch combo rear shackle/hanger kit for the rear. Mine is pretty even sitting on 305/40/22 tires. Looks slammed and doesnt scrape speed bumps or curbs lol.

 

i have the same shackles and i was hoping to do the same but the shackles dropped the back about 2 inches tops. i ended up going with hotckiss 1.5 lower coils in the front and hotchkiss lowering leafsprings in the rear and wow. the rear was low ,low,low. barely above the tire when it was at the 4 inch hole which its the top hole. i will post pics soon.

 

I have Belltech 2" shackles and it leveled the rear out perfectly.

 

I was wondering which of the 3 holes in the shackles I should use. I think I'll just put it in the middle hold and check it out, if its to low I'll raise it up.

 

After Year's now rolling on my Stock set up,i finally talked myself into a set of 2" Lowering Shackles.I guess i'm going to go with the 2" Belltach Shackle's,those seem to be what most guy's end up with on the 99 to 02 Lightning's.Who sell's the Belltech's for the best price?

 

2'' Gf shackles on my 03 only put her down like 1 1/2''

 

the middle hole is the 3" hole.

 

I put my shackles on yesterday and after some adjustments it looks sweet. Thanks for the help guys.
