This has tons of possibilities

I wouldn't mind starting out with this.

Still a lot of work left but looks like a SICK project...

I was there at V's house Tues night when he found that on line, you should have heard him.
Honey can I have 15 thousand dollars to buy this

Teri of course said NO, then V went into his "thats whats wrong with Ronbo and Mike speach" they dont have wifes to talk them out of just impulse buying. It was then I came up with my idea to have Rent a Wifes. Where us people thay answer to NO ONE could call up and say, Honey I want to buy another Lightning, and then the Rent a wife could say, NO YOU AINT A$$HOLE.
Then they bill you and everyone wins.....

That's a Lightning like a kangaroo is a mouse.

There is some common DNA somewhere, but it ain't much.

Figure a 20k buy in, another 50 in a mega inch twin turbo setup plus another 20 in a solid driveline, 30k to get it all together and pick up all those misc. items, like a fuel system, brakes, paint if retro rat isn't your thing and for say 120K you've got a one of a kind 7 second ride, or cut your motor buget and do a crate big block and some slick paint work and have a slick pro street ride, pretty cool.

I've gone back and studied those photos. I literally cannot see a single Lightning part, or any other indication that it was ever a Lightning.

The bumper cover/air dam is close, but it's not even a stock part.

All it needs are some SVT F150 badges on the fenders.

Looks like the old High-Risk truck from many years ago that never got finished. Was going to be a twin-turbo 4v setup. I know BA-Bolt made an intake for it. I believe divorce ended this project.

Ya, it's mine. And if I put my new Lightning and SVT emblems on it, it is a Lightning. Some people just dont understand that there are different classes of Lightnings. For instance you have your plain street driven L's, your modded L's, and your all out racing L's. Ford loves to sponsor John Forces funnycars and take credit for them being Mustangs. And so do Ford fans. I sold my 2000L w/3000mi because I didnt what to destroy a 30K L.(not $ smart) The body is a T/S drag body, exact copy of a 2000 flareside F150 all the way down to step and bed rail texter, spot welds around cab door openings. The only Ford parts are my 3rd brake light(need one working rear light NHRA,IHRA) door handles ext.,door weatherstripping, and every L emblem. It wasnt even going to have a mod. engine. For less than the price of a killer turbo or SC mod eng. you can build a 632 or even an 832 (Eliminator has a new 12.3 deck 460 block) w/glide and run 7's easy and only change your oil once in a while. It's a no brainer if you want to go fast. And that seems what everybody wants to do. I just wish I was younger and felt good (7yrs 10hrs a day, everyday hooked to a kidney machine has slowed me down alittle, ok alot) This is my dream L and I'm mentally ****ed-up having to get rid of it. I still have my 88 557 notch which I race IHRA.I just cant do it all. So, if it looks like an L and it says it's an L and goes really fast it must be an L. Thats about it. Ed

Oh ya, no it's not the High Risk truck
