Trackboy, Just curious, how much ET reduction did you see as a result of adding the smaller blower pulley? Did you notice a big improvement in the seat-of-the-pants feel on the street as well?
Thanks,

Hey Trackboy,
I have a ASP pulley on my L. ASP calls their pulley a 2 pounder but I beleave it only delivers 1-1.5 pounds.
ASP changed the pulley to a new design about two or three months ago. With the new pulley there is NO grinding. The pulley is the same size.
I'm in the process of having my snout changed because the INSTALLER did'nt know what the HELL he was doing............
So I've got a crash course on the ASP pulley.
Hope this helps.

Hankfan i can't tell you exact e.t. because i installed the pulley and the chip on the same day. i can tell you that another L owner at the track sunday went 13.24 with just a pulley it was super air and he got it hooked up and went 1.90 60ft. I would say his average on a 60 degree day would be 13.50 so the pulley is probably worth 3 tenths which is not bad for 125 bucks

Probably close to what I got, anyways, improves the 1/8th mile pretty good. I wouldn't agree that it really increases the boost that much, just can achieve the boost alot quicker. It's quite a different effect from the centrifugal blowers which show fairly large gains in boost from shortening the pulley diameter. With a roots however, there's a break limit to how much boost it will actually produce efficiently. The centrifugal is more efficient and will increase boost to much higher levels when properly inter or aftercooled.
Cheers
